Our ECOLOW device – Technical characteristics
Our technology has taken years of research and testing to provide you with a practical system that offers real energy savings. The installation is simple and the module is interchangeable from one machine to another.
Guaranteed for 2 years, with no maintenance required, the module has proven itself on all types of fuel (NRD, diesel, petrol), excluding anti-freeze additives, even in other sectors. The requirements? A constant engine speed, running for more than an hour to exploit the module’s capabilities. You optimise the performance of your engines and reduce your CO2, NOx and HC emissions.
Average savings of up to 15% on non-road diesel have been reported and benefits such as this satisfied customer, after installing the module on a Kalmar port handling machine.

These type of gear are used in harbor around the world to unload containers, operating from 11 to 15 hours per day, or approximately 1700 hours per year. The use of the ECOLOW fuel saver has reduced fuel consumption by 34% on the KALMARs at the port of Cayenne in French Guiana, from 17.5 litres per hour to 11.5 litres. This, represents an annual saving of 10,200 litres of fuel. An exceptional result given the current rise in diesel prices.

How long does it take to install the system?
Aware that immobilising handling equipment for too long represents a cost and a loss of productivity for you, our technicians have set up an assembly process that lasts a maximum of 1 hour, after which… time to make savings.
